How to choose your session
11 massage services and 31 listed prices is a lot to scan on a phone. Here's the short version. Worth knowing before you pick: the NIH's National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health describes massage therapy as generally safe for most people when it's performed by a trained practitioner — so the decision below is mostly about what you want out of the hour.
How long should you book?
For a first visit, 60 minutes is the safe pick — enough time for full body work at $109 ($119 for the Signature). Choose 45 minutes ($89) when one area needs attention and your lunch break is short. At 90 minutes ($149) the therapist can cover everything and still slow down on the tight spots. The 120 minute session ($189, or $180 for Deep Tissue) is for days you don't want to watch the clock.
Booking because your lower back has been complaining? Start with our guide to what massage can and can't do for back pain — it's an honest read of the research, not a sales pitch.
Deep tissue, Swedish or Signature?
Pick by pressure. Deep Tissue is medium to firm, aimed at knots and a back or neck that stays tight. Swedish is light to medium, in long strokes, for when you simply want to unwind. The Signature adds hot towels and a hot compress. All three offer hot stones and cupping at no extra charge, and both are optional — tell your therapist if you'd rather skip the cups.
Want stretching as much as pressure? Thai Massage works through assisted stretches at $99 for 45 minutes, $119 for 60 and $159 for 90; our page on Thai massage in San Carlos covers who it suits and what the trials found.
Couples massage or four hands?
They cost the same — $189 for 60 minutes, $279 for 90, $369 for 120 — but they are different treatments. Couples Massage is two people on two tables side by side in one private room, each with their own therapist. Four Hands is one person and two therapists working in rhythm. Book couples for a shared date night; book four hands when the occasion is entirely yours.
Booking while pregnant?
Prenatal Massage comes in 60 minutes at $119 or 90 minutes at $159. Many expecting parents find 60 minutes is plenty, especially later in pregnancy. If your pregnancy is high-risk or you're unsure whether massage is a good idea at your stage, check with your doctor or midwife first — then mention how far along you are when you book.
Which lymphatic treatment fits?
Four of our 11 services center on lymphatic work, and they solve different problems. The quick comparison:
| Option | Time | Price | Choose it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lymphatic Drainage | 60 or 75 min | $129 / $149 | Gentle full-body drainage on its own |
| Massage + Lymphatic Facial | 90 or 120 min | $189 / $239 | Deep Tissue or Swedish first, facial after |
| Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpting | 75 or 90 min | Special $189 / $209 | Contour-focused work for bloating and water retention |
| Lymphatic Drainage + Lymphatic Facial | 90 or 120 min | Special $189 | Full-body drainage plus a 30 or 60 minute facial |
None of the lymphatic sessions use deep pressure — that's the point of them. If firm work is what you're after, book the Deep Tissue Massage. Driving in from San Mateo? Our page on lymphatic drainage massage near San Mateo compares all four and covers the route. New to cupping? Our plain-English cupping guide explains the marks before you commit.
Still deciding?
- Name the goal. Relaxation, a stubborn shoulder, puffiness, a date night — every service on this page maps to one of those. If it's plain relaxation, Mayo Clinic's overview of relaxation techniques is a good primer on keeping the effect going between visits.
- Pick your time. 60 minutes for maintenance, 90 minutes when something specific hurts, 120 minutes when the week has been long.
- Book online or call (650) 622-8666. Square shows live availability and takes about a minute. Buying for someone else? Gift cards let them choose the service themselves.
All our therapists are fully CAMTC-certified and licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council, and we keep the certificates on hand if you'd like to see one. For what to look for in any studio, not just ours, see our guide to finding a massage therapist.

How long do sessions last?
Anywhere from 45 to 120 minutes. Deep Tissue, Swedish and Signature book at 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes; Thai at 45, 60 or 90; Couples and Four Hands at 60, 90, or 120; Lymphatic Drainage at 60 or 75; and the massage-plus-facial combinations run 90 or 120 minutes in total.
How early should I arrive?
A few minutes ahead is plenty — enough time to park on El Camino Real, check in, and tell your therapist where to focus and how much pressure you like. First visit? Give yourself ten minutes and you won't feel rushed.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Call us at (650) 622-8666 as soon as you know. Plans change — the earlier we hear from you, the easier it is to move your appointment or offer the time to someone else. Square also sends a confirmation email when you book online.
