NCCIH's research digest describes a 2014 trial of 228 people with chronic neck pain in which 60 minute sessions given more than once a week helped where 30 minute ones did not, and a 2015 analysis of 25 studies covering 3,096 people with low-back pain that found short-term improvement. A couples or four hands booking needs two therapists free in the same hour, so a couple holding the card should pick their evening a few days ahead on Square rather than on the night. We close at 9 PM, which makes 8 PM the latest start for a 60 minute session and 7:30 PM for 90 minutes.

No. California Civil Code §1749.5 makes it unlawful to sell a gift certificate with an expiration date or a service fee, and a card holding less than $15 can be cashed out for its balance.

Federal rules go less far. The CFPB explains that a gift card cannot be sold to expire in under 5 years and cannot charge inactivity fees for its first 12 months, so California's rule is the stricter of the two. The CFPB also suggests handing over the terms and the receipt with the card.
